You’ll never go back to whatever it was you were making before. Promise. These were another addition to my bar addiction for the Murder Mystery Party. Women love chocolate so I knew this one was going to go over great. And it did! (Even with the guys at the Superbowl Party the next day too!)
Layer a 9×13 pan with your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. (Psst. I use the back of the chocolate chip bag recipe! See *** note below!) OOooo! I also added white chocolate chips to this recipe too!
Mix an 8 oz package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 egg and layer on top of cookies.
Add another cookie layer on top of the cream cheese layer.
Bake in the oven at 350 until the cookies are done.
***Now… the BEST idea for Chocolate Chip Cookies and my plug for the love I have for this product… Butter Crisco. Take away the sticks of butter and pile in a delicious cup of Buttered Crisco instead. Guaranteed your cookies will look prettier, taste better, and capture the attention of all the cookie eaters out there!
